To be honest with you, we have to many install / mdu conversions. There's barley enough work for the vets. out there now. To start, if you find a job that's got any splicing you'll have to find someone willing to train you. This day in age you may find an old timer willing to take on a young healthy & hungry. This is so the apprentice can do all the climbing. If your lucky enough to find those 2 things you may have a chance. The days of all the upgrades are gone. This day & age you need to now line work to go with the splicing. Most jobs are extensions, where you are replacing bad coax found during sweep. Good luck, I started in 1975
