The US will not be #1 oil consumer much longer. With USA buying everything from India and China, we are fueling (pun intended) their building boom which is using more and more oil daily.
The "greenies" will never allow US to utilize our vast oil reserves. It's better to keep mussels and other "endangered species" than to mitigate our energy problems.
We all share the blame. We all buy products imported to save money over American made products. Now, it's damn near impossible to buy American made products.
Maybe there's hope for my grandchildren.
