I don't care what the "dude" was charged with. HE IS A FELON. Should he have a second chance?......YES! But not in this industry where you handle SSI numbers and are in homes alone with customers. Go get a job as a ditch digger or perhaps as a Union Organizer. Prove himself honorable there and then we can talk.
Some of you may think I am harsh, but this is real life. Tell you what for those who think I am too darn harsh. You go down to the prison and pick one of those boys who are getting ready for parole or release. Tell the court you will take him into your home with your wife and teenage daughters. You support him and feed him, and leave him alone with all that you hold precious. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DO THAT FOR FEAR OF THE PERSON, THEN YOU ARE JUST BLOWING SMOKE ON THIS FORUM. Just look in the mirror. All I said was FACT and real life.
And NO I HAVE NOT HAD A FELONY CONVICTION....just traffic violations many many years ago.....used to like to drag race.
