Re: Ft. Walton Beach Florida??

I am considering going down myself to do some work. Let me say from a vacationers point of view. FT Walton is an awesome place. I have been going down every year for about 14 yrs now. Its got the best beaches, one of the best fishing and deep sea fishing places in the Gulf. The fuel is high compared to here in Atlanta. Housing isnt bad during the off season, but can get high fast during vacation times. Snow bird arent too bad but they are there. Most poles from what I can remember are easy to get too. Like everyone says DONT get caught spiking, they will rip you a new one. I am actually going down on Wens for the rest of the week for a mini vacation. I will let you know what I see and prices and what not if you are interested.
