If the political parties and the people of the United States were behind it, are you talking about diplomacy or a military effort or both..
If military what possible actions would you propose? These are religious fanantics.. IT would be like telling the Southern Baptists they have to drink on a daily basis and take communion. and telling the catholics no wine on Thanksgiving.
.. How do we defeat religious fanantic terrorists group with bombs and more killing? What would we win? There would be more pop up just like they did in Iraq..
