Re: So many jobs

Tech is one of the most over used words today. you have waste management techs = garbage collectors, the guys at Jiffy Lube are called techs. Pretty soon Illegals will be called Welfare Techs. I just hired a guy straight out of the marines. He has taken a course while in the military that has certified him as a fiber optic tech. I told him to keep that diploma handy in case while out in the field he had to take a dump he would at least have something to wipe his a$$. No reflection on him, he is working out fine, but no way he can be considered a tech until he has a few years experience behind him.
