well to get the good routes it helps when you are on time and don't do alot of witching or tell the boss you're not going to fix a bad pre-wire which if we can fix it we do and as far as gas i have a 34 gallon tank and only spend $100 a week. i work for the same company that smith used to work for yeah there are days when you get crappy routes but the more you complain the worse the routes get yes that is wrong but i learned not to long after i started doing cable and have only been doing it less than 3 years just take your route and do it and the lowest my check has been was $420 other than that they have been over $600 and thats normally maybe 5 jobs a day and they're not all money jobs maybe 2-3 are. But i am also one of the first ones to show up in the morning with paperwork done equipment from day before ready to turn in and don't complain about where they routed me at or how crappy the jobs are.
