Why did you have to make me cry like that ? I have spent many nights in a children's hospital for the past 6 years. I have seen little boys and their Mom's go through this. I thank God I got to keep my little girl, and I hope she out lives me like she should. There is one little boy who is 3 and has lived at children's hospital at UCLA almost his entire life. The sad part is that you cant even hug or touch him. His room is full of toys and personal belongings as though he were home. He has some organ problems where if he caught any germs he could die. I found my daughter at his door sitting on a chair in the hall laughing.....the little baby was just inside the door laughing with her. The nurse let them visit this way......my daughter has a lot of empathy and love to share too!
