Very Easy to explain:
1. In-House only worry about one thing: NUMBERS!!!!
If you aren't part of their little "clique" you ain't **** and get looked over for promotions etc regardless wether you are deserving or not.
I have over 23 years experience in CATV industry and have worked (NEVER FIRED) in-house and generally don't like the "better than though" attitude of most in-house techs, as I can run circles around most of them in experience and common sense, but there are alot of good ones too who realize that contractors are not "scabs" just merely not willing to put up with the BS in most cases.
