When did you work So. Central, Mike? I strand mapped there, back in '83, and never had a problem. It would have probably went the other way had it been when the riot kicked off in '92 though. Look what happened to Reginald Denny. He probably had driven a truck through there thousands of times, but that day he got drug out of his truck, was beaten and shot just for being in the wrong place at the right time. Bottom line is, you work the hood, you had better pay attention to what is going on around you, because something jumps off, you may end up hurt or dead, and in some cases, there may be nothing you can do but pray that the Lord helps you through it, because drawing down in the hood is a quick way to end up dead. Yeah, you may take out one or two, but trust me their crew is gonna put more holes in you than a spaghetti strainer.
