CMTS Setup

I bought an Arris CMTS 1000, I believe it has all 8 upstream cards. I am in the process of putting return capability in my system. I now will need to hook the CMTS into my system. Also, I will need to have some sort of cable modem authenication, some people use Parasun. Does anybody have any information on setting up a CMTS into a system. IF so, I would greatly appreciate it.
