I am Southern born and raised. I am just as proud of my country upbringing as anyone, but even in the country, there IS A DIFFERENCE between, good ole boys and hillbilly/rednecks. The difference is that a good ole boy doesn't like the fact that the Mexicans are here illegally, but they respect them for their work ethic. A redneck has no true respect for anyone because he is too ignorant to understand the concept.
