Before the "current policy" several months back you had to ty-wrap them to the expansion loop near the strand clamp. If you ty-wrapped them to the strand it was a gig. Remember this is Installs in Austin for TW so logic doesn't always apply, lol. Personally, I like them on the ports of the tap (easy to see), but you are right, there is always the issue of broken ports that can occur if one isn't careful removing the trap(s).
