I think the point of the original post was well made. HTF did that simple post evolve into the rantings I've read here?
Random responses: The constitution was indeed written on paper. It has been trashed by politicians and judges since 1787.
The Gov't spies on us. Get used to it. Don't like it? Move to Britian (wait, they spy too.) Canada (wait, they do it too).
Don't like the current government? Get off your ass, campaign for some county seat, and devote your life to change. Please don't attack people who devote their lives to the country. RESPECT their opinions, debate with them, but QUIT attacking personalities.
I was born and raised in Ft Wayne... you reside near the 7th most important target of the old Cold War. Do you really think you're safe from terrorism?
FTR: Voted Bush 2x... Clinton once (second term). Clinton was an excellent pres, as is Mr. Bush.
