Is it really that Good

Ive heard alot about Dallas having alot of work. Is the pay worth picking up your family and relocating in desire of starting a business, as operations manager based on salary plus piece work? How is the living and enjoyment cost out there. I'm seriously debating on going home to Houston or relocating a second time for greener pastures. Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated.
