Re: China threat

Oh well, oh well.

First of all, it is foolish that we allowed China to buy or treasury notes as we did, but now what to do? It is a bit of a quagmire. They have much control over this country, much more than anyone is willing to admit, I am afraid.

China in my opinion should be looked at as a hostile country. They are sneeky lil bastages and I think every time we renew the "Most Favored Nation" trading status, it makes us look to be the "Most Foolish Nation".

If you have children, be very careful and aware that Chinese made toys have been found to have high levels of lead and even mercury content. So, all of these make up kits, lipstick, fruit juices, candy, etc... made in China, most certainly means POISONED.

In this brave new world we find ourselves in, I feel sort of like how the native American indian must have felt when the blankets they were given had diseases in them that they couldn't protect themselves from.

All-in-all, the corporate world wants America to be as France and have us all depend on foreign nations for all of our goods. We are sold on the idea as it being good to let other countries do the minial jobs that us Americans are over-educated to do, however the next time you make a purchase on the latest and greatest gadget, just look where it is made...........

On a side note, once upon a time I kept the bar informed on china and other hot topics, however the admin here evidentally found my posts to be a threat to the bar. I dunno, maybe a news website will steal the people away from the bar? Not sure, for whatever reasons, but I no longer make posts with links to the website and no longer waste my time informing everyone of the news of the day because my time is too important to have a post pulled because of internet insecurities.

If you are interested in what site I am referencing, you can try to look at my history of postings and possibly find it from a couple of months ago. No biggie, just venting.
