Hey now, I have a 100lb male doberman named Ozzy. The only thing you have to worry about him is getting pestered for affection. It's all how you raise them. One of the most vicious dogs I ever came across of all things was a snouser. He was a fury pirana. Yes I have had to jump the fence when a pitbull came shooting out from under the back porch, but a shot of repelent fixed him. Most dogs are teritorial. Once they see you are no threat they can be quite friendly. This has been my experience. There are always going to be those few that will eat you up no matter what. You have to read them. OBVIOUSLY the best thing to do is have the owner restrain or put the dog where you aren't.
