8 way house amp on each drop (most i've seen are 1.5 gain on each port) use 2 and 3 way splitters across the board? cheaper would be two 4 way house amps and four way splitters.......problem there is you will have to cascade at some point, it would really depend on your signal at the ground block to get a perfect answer, but the amp with splitters is the way i always did the tough ones. no matter how you go, you will almost certainly have to use amps, the loss will just be too high. had a sub yesterday go from cable to sat because of crap signal. charter kept telling him he had a bunch of bad tv's. all it took was a 4 way cascaded on a 4 way to crap him out. the tech didn't even bother to tone the drops..........he only had 4 tv's, but all but one of the used runs were on the second splitter. did i mention the only one that was on the first 4 way was split in the room to feed a tv and a modem? it was sad.
