Social Security was basically a "forced" savings program with millions of investors (MILLLIONS). We allowed the government to "invest" one helluva lot of Americans money! If you were running a corporation for 50 years with no expenses other than "what can i do with trillions of taxpayers money so i can make more money and you ended up where SS is at today, i believe your investors would "lynch " ya. Now you're saying your Mom's n Pops are welfare cases?! A little mis-placed anger there, don't ya think? Later, Mike M.
