Actually, I left End-2-End for similar managerial nonsense. I put my two week in at the company I'm at now. I'm going back to satellite because unless a satellite falls out of orbit, a signal issue is my problem and not something like a plant issue I have no control over.
That's the problem doing this stuff for 9 years, you work for fewer and fewer people who know at least as much as you.
I'm convinced that Cox's long-term strategy is to make money by every cost-cutting measure possible, not by actually offering a better product.
Do you know of any White Papers that cover optimal levels at taps? I would love to drop something on the boss's desk to prove my point.
