I worked for Ed from 82 till 99 all over the country doing underground construction. The last 10 years was in the Portland area as there manager and Tony Wheeler was my splicer. Schenck was a great company! I remember in 82 working in Minnesota, plowing a dual system. The line crews would pull out 3 reel trailers full of trunk or feeder cable, two to three reels on each trailer and come back empty at the end of the day! WOW. The good old days!
