Take a ohm meter and do the test. but use a areal drop that is 300' or better. that strand doas build up static. doas static along side the coax mess up the signal??? It may. If there is no static will it attract lighting because it is separate from the grounded coax that it supports. This has been a rule in Northern Ohio for years with a few Ms o's. Did they (the MSO) just start making you do this Lucas just recently?
