Now Theres Some Names I Havent Heard In A While. I Also Have Good Memories Working With Ed Schencks Co. Back In The Early And Mid 80'S. I Learned Alot About Cable, Saw Alot Of The Country And Even Managed To Make Some $. I Was A Young Construction Lineman (Top Hook) As Well As A Coax Slicer For Ed, I Knew And Worked With Bud Longnecker, Dean Sjoquist And Pat Lake.
Respliced In Medford, Or.
Spliced New Plant In The Tri-Cities Area Of Washington State, Spliced And Constructed In Centerville, Ca.
Spliced In Logansport, In.
Spliced And Constructed In Johnstown, Pa.
Most Memorable Was When I Was The Top-Hook (Fred Jolly Was The Crew Foreman, Bud Longnecker Was There For Insight And Support) Stranding Then Building A Dual Trunk Run With Two 90'S Up Top Then Eleven Spans Down A 73 Degree Slope With Another Two 90'S And A 200' River Crossing At The Bottom With Snow On The Ground In Johnstown, Pa. We Did It With No Cuts And No Injuries.
