I completely understand that. I am not a cable "installer" anymore. I took the initiative to pay for training, whether it was with cash or getting coffee for the old timers I knew. I spent many days in the rain repairing underground or aerial spans, many more nights looking at a problem until I figured out that it was a simple repair, I was just overthinking the situation, all while having an old dog watching and making money off my labor. I would like to see more installers take this route, although I believe that today maybe 1% will. You have to pay your dues in this business, then you get those 350 calls.
