Bet there will be a whole lot more crackdowns by ICE - if you have been following the news, there have been more and more raids on employers who hire illegals. Have some faith, it's a miracle that the amnesty was voted down since Bush was so damn eager to push it through....and offering all kinds of "lobbying" promises to senators who would stand behind him. Every step has to start with a baby step, right? We've let this go on for way too long, I certainly don't expect to get it resolved overnight, but it is a definite step in the right direction. Now, if the ACLU would kindly remember that the "A" doesn't stand for (illegal) "ALIEN" , that would help, too.
