AT&T does not run the industry. Sure competition does it's part to spur things along and after wating congressional hearings a few week ago with all of the major cable players partisapating, congress will be pushing for 1GHZ to the house. and just like the cable industry is stepping up to the call for more broadband now they will in the future. There has always been test markets for all kinds of things throughout the years. This is no different! It was the phone companies that provided the infrastructure for the internet to become what it is today. How many still use dial-up. No matter who brings on line the next generation of services others WILL respond. Wheather the players of today sell out get out or close-up somebody will carry the ball onward. You guys just ready yourselves for what ever changes. Study up on the stuff coming down the line, make yourselves marketable. Keep the free market alive. Stop crying about the lack of money figure out a way to stand in the currency stream and get wet, you really do want to go into the deep end it's where all of the money is!
