in the northwest. installs are done by Verizon employees. If a fiber drop needs to be buried to the customers house than it is contracted for drop placement only. Verizon will do the install when drop is placed.
Slimhefty- i am sure that the people you are referring to are verizon employees. I doubt that verizon would let non-employees drive company vehicles.
