Just wonderin' ???

I check in here time to time just to see whats going on around the country. (for cable news, not clear veiw of the southern sky news, get your own site) I see prices that I was scared of 8 years ago. I am refering to .19 for strand in the const. ads. Any old hand with experience sub-contracting will tell you, get out the bologna at these prices. So on to my question did we just make to much money in late 80s through most of 90s ? Or to much work then to many people now ? I guess there are very few of us left out here that can give a old (ride in the back with lasher opinion) but all are welcome! Just wonderin'
