Rumour has it the cable companies are going to require you sign an affadavid that you have not used any cuss words for the last 7 months at work or during the little bit of time you have for your private life. They will also require that you attend church on a regular basis, drink no alcohol on or off the job and keep within the boundary of decency when your in your bedroom. (No anal sex or s&m). Your co-workers will be offered a "snitch fee" for reporting any such behavior.
This policy was passed to be in line with the Bush administration's directives on eliminating habeous corpus which wiped out most of the Bill or Rights. Many provisions in the patriot act have removed your constitutional rights as well. Wiretapping and other KGB type techniques to invade your privacy as well has been the earmark of this administration.
Like Milo in "Catch 22".. Whats good for the Corporations is good for the country. Republicans support "a smaller government"... not when it comes to your personal freedoms, but less government control for Corporations and in this case cable companies so they can invade your private life for their convienience. To be fair a lot of democrats are almost as bad. Many of you took drug tests didn't you? Just say no! "What if they threw a recruiting party with pee cups in hand and nobody came?"
WAKE UP PEOPLE ! Throw these Constitutional Terrorists out of office and support candidates with strong civil liberty platforms and stand up for yourself... Set your own policy make them deal with it. Misdemeanor for the last 7 years. F@#$ you.
