Actually these guys were around before cable guys! The ones that "used" to get paid well installing those monster dishes, you know, the ones your cable cos. use to receive the stuff you transmit over those lines! Once upon a time you actually had to comprehend the stuff you worked with! Attenuation is about as basic as it gets! I think they have a 101 class on this bar if i'm not mistaken that covers this issue, glump. we all start at the basics, or at least should! There's more variables than the replys you've received!
