Re: Attention Wildblue/DirectWay

Did some commercial and a handful of Wireless for Jetstream a while back. The wireless is actually T-1 retransmitted. they offer 2megs and the retransmitters are allowed to resell at a maximum of 1 meg. Of course they break down the speed by what you pay for. Generally you need a line-o-sight with a maximum of 8mi. to get anything trustworthy. We've done wet 11's to bend corners and such, but the area this gal is talking about is as remote as it gets and line -o-sight and distance and mountainous terrainpretty much leave you stuck with wildblue or hughes! Now, my suggestion is to hook up with a neighbor and a wireless router and split the cost! Later, Mike M.
