Instead of telling the customer a lie, tell them the truth, that the cable company does not compinsate you for your time and you are happy to help them set up their digi card for a reasonable fee. Have them call the local tv shop and ask what their price is. You will be surprised at how many people are happy to open a wallet. I know, the cable company will get mad,wah wah wah. Screw the mso.
