Re: God Bless Our Men and Women In Harm's Way

Every year my band performs at the Viet Nam vets family reunion free of charge to say thank you.

It seems there are never enough words to say thank you to all our the vets out there.

Over the past two years, we started seeing some of our brave men and women attending, who came home from Iraq. Maimed and scared for life. They make their way back stage to tell me thank you. when it is they themselves who deserve the thank you. I always take the time for them no matter how far I am running behind. It is a small comparison for what they did and do for me.
How do you tell someone thank you for losing an arm, and putting your life on the line for me?
It's the hardest show emotionaly, of the year that we do and I will continue to do it as long as they will allow. To give them that little bit of entertainment is not near enough I know. It seems for me, I can never say thank you enough.
I don't care how old or young they are, they are in my opinion, the real true hero's of our country.
I am proud of them all.(usa)
