Re: "Amnesty"

Be serious for just a moment - all these people are doing is bringing their own country here to make us little Mexico...and we have enabled them for years, and finally realizing that it was a mistake...if you tried to take care of your "poor family" by doing something illegal, you'd be in jail. And your philosophy that if you are granted amnesty, there has been no crime, is absolutely ludicrous. Even illegals must know the difference between right and wrong, and their first blunder is coming over here and remaining undocumented. Enter the country legally, and no one will have any problems with it...but to come over here, downgrade pay scales so employers (who should also be sanctioned for hiring them) make bigger profits, obtain benefits they are not entitled to, get credit cards, etc., that TAXPAYERS will end up having to foot the bill for - well, John G, what about the American poor families now that have to lower their standards of living because of the burden of having these people default on their credit cards, so interest rates on yours go up, etc....Bank of America was boycotted by many for their plan to grant credit cards - and one of those in congress finally said "No Visa without a visa." There is more involved here than just the "poor family" of those crossing the border illegally, it's the avalanche effect it has on the entire economy here in the U.S. How many more do you think we can maintain/support here? It's time to CLOSE THE BORDERS. Finally, do you think you'd be able to go to any other country and do what the illegals are doing here (not that you'd want to). No, John G, I don't feel sorry for the illegals, or for their families...I'm more sorry for those of us who live here legally, trying to be law-abiding citizens, and getting to be in last place in our own government's eyes, because they want the "comprehensive" plan for illegals, and we are becoming the minority. Deport Pedro.
