That is not true. I know some employers are like that, but even so, it's besides the point.
You don't come down on a group of willing workers because of compensation they personally find suitable. I mean, it's not as if they approach employers seeking the lowest wages. It's just that what they are too often offered is a goldmine in comparison to what they are accustomed to so they gladly accept it.
Many come to this country after living in destitute poverty and are given the opportunity to improve both their standard of living and the standard of living of their future generations. All they ask for is the opportunity to work, and so the opportunity to raise their children better than they were raised themselves. It's what makes this country great. And if that opportunity did not exist for our forebearers you and I both probably wouldn't be here.
