An SX-100 will do good when the ground is soft in the spring and fall. SX-100s thoe wont cut thru roots. If there are alot of roots on the surface there Mini sneakers will cut thru roots fine. Now summer months 10" is what you want a Maxi and a Mini are what I use... and I have no complants. Driveway bores and roads I use a JT-520 ditch witch. useing the rod s will slow you down.. and make you dig toooooo much.
