You use a missile to stitch bore. Dig your pit to start the bore and another to receive the missile. Bore from the first bore pit to the second. Now your receive pit is your start pit and you dig a new receive pit. Bore from the first pit to the second and repeat until you're done. Got it? Pit boring reduces your restoration but can be slower depending on ground conditions.
