big fiber

with the new wave of technology more company's seem to be going to the extreme of high count fibers. these 288 ct armored fiber runs are much more difficult to string out 20000' without cutting. has anyone been running in to this? should i seek a higher price than I've been getting for 12ct-60ct fibers. any info would be greatly appreciated
