i agree with you to a point and i can only speak for my experience here
i worked for time warner is south carolina and its twc that is a huge problem. example
the wallfish price includes the outlet also
if you do a phone and internet job u can only bill for one of them
not both. i questioned this to twc directly saying u want me to take responsibility for someones cpu and not pay me for it. theyre response was is one box so not stackable.
when u did phone install and had to put the feed jack in or change the plate to a dual that was included.
oh and the best one yet.
if you did a modem install with a digital box
you could not bill for the box.
and any time you did a new install or reconnect and had digital boxes they were also free.
needless to say i was not there long
things may have changed since then but if i know how things are they probably got worse.
