Re: Wideband

Wideband is a term used to describe channel-bonding, a key component of the new Docsis 3.0 standard. 4 downstream channels are fed simultainiously from, for example, an Arris C4 CMTS to a Touchstone wide band modem to achieve downstream throughput speeds from 100 to 290 mbps. Cisco will be submitting it's equipment for Cable Labs certification in October.
