Re: job ads

When a company posts it's name it can end up with a huge volume of phone calls that are difficult, at best, to handle efficiently for both the employer and the prospective employee. With the use of the internet for posting and email for correspondence, both parties can send more clear information back and forth to eachother without misunderstanding that information. Just a couple of clear emails to eachother and you'll both have a good idea if the job is what you want and if you have the skills the employer wants. Then it's on to phone calls to eachother.

Just a bit of unsolicited advice. If you are responding to an ad posted either by an employer or a job seeker, take care with your writing. These people are not your old buddies that you talk to using all sorts of abbreviations, IM slangs, and things like that. These are people you are trying to establish a business/work relationship with. You are telling them a lot about yourself if you don't take the time or care to communicate well with them.
