Verizon in Ft. Wayne hired a bunch of guys to splice thier fttp project, then they sent the first 20 hired to the copper side, with very little training and very few tools they were on thier own. They didn't ride with a guy for a day a week or an hour!!! That was 18 months ago, now they are firing those guys or forcing them to quit. The union is powerless!!!, How do I know?? I was one that was forced to quit, they can kiss both sides of my white ass, and I'm a guy that had experience in troubleshooting twisted pair. Hey Verizon,,,,,. Beware fiber pukes, your next!!!
