Re: Cinco de Mayo

don't blame the guy getting half of what the guy that started a year before him (last year) does. blame the folks that have cut the prices to the point that it DOESN'T PAY to do a good job. i agree that the biz is full of hatchet throwers. but wouldn't you agree that a person's pride must be founded to some degree upon what he feels he is worth, aka what he is paid? the scopecreep and declining (or at least stagnant, in the face of double digit inflation) wages are enough to make any sane person cut a corner. it's sad but true. i for one make every sub who's upgrade or trouble call that won't pass a qc based on the last hacks mistakes sign off on the fact that a re-install costs 100 dollars, the sub just wants the thing fixed or upgraded and i'm done and covered. let the csr's handle the questions. i will fix the problem, or upgrade to the point that the job won't fail, but i won't spend much time or materials making it "right" sorry for your luck, but if i'm buying the drop mat, and i'm providing the extra labor you are going to pay for me to bring someone else's work up. i'm a grown man and i'll wipe my own kid's a$$es. i won't wipe yours or the next guys without being paid for it.
