I disagree, Im pretty sure that it is healthy that we all know the price structure for the seperate disciplins. I for one have always had a piece of the action in all parts of the industry. Im no "splicer" but I hold my own w/ some of the best. I am currently doing dish work. I install for cable companies. reverse and foward mit, as well as aerial and u/g const. I mostly like staying in my home town but when the #s are right Ill go out of town. I think our mistake as an industry is letting the owners of the mso's get us seperated. The first thing they do w/ any sighn of unity is try to break it up. As a group we are very strong and very smart. I worked for snet in ct after a strike and there union is pretty strong. Im not a union man but I think we could benifit from some of the lessons learned by the unions.
