TY fifth. Actually I've already seen this product. Unfortunately it is for on-air DTV and I don't live where there is either cable or any reasonably close on-air signals. What I want to do is get a satellite subscription. But I have no idea if the decoders have a computer compatible signal port (the dish providers that I've checked don't seem to specify) or if there are specialized software required or even if the bandwidth of my fastest port (GigabyteEthernet) is compatible with HiDef. I currently have had no TV up here for 7 years now and I'd like to expand that! Like I said in my first inquiry I have no place to put anything but a flat screen TV and it's a pretty pricey solution. That's why I want to use the Mac as a monitor.
