The system i work in has 4 cotractors in it for installations all with 1099 subs one of the contractors decided to get techs to work for him he would pay for uniforms and insurance the irs then told him because of this all 40 of his 1099 subs were actually considered employees in their eyes and it cost him $250000 in back employee tax and intrest and penalties 1099 means your own company the only benis you get are from yourself.
