diving into a spring fed river in january has to be just as good (i miss san marcos) but christmas at 75 and sunny is pretty sweet. i used to go to ok for tday and xmas every year, and since mom moved back up there my kids will get to see snow too which is nice (dishnetwork and the prime can kiss off if they think i'm working the 4th, thanksgiving or christmas...........the other hollidays are mostly for drunks and i'll take the heavy routes), but working outside in a t-shirt 10 months out of the year is the way to go. the only draw back is like when i was buying beer yesterday and the pakistani rattled something off which didn't click and i asked him what'd you just say? and then he quit speaking spanish at me. kinda threw me. i called my wife and told her i'm done wearing flannels, workboots and jeans to work!
