I agree. But things arent to much different on that side of the house. Sure theres more money there, but CATV construction/linework lags behind the other utilities.
There are moer installers than any other tittle. Leaving things the way the are will do no good. The cancer will just continue to spread to what ever part of the business where people who work for anything and take anything will go.
IMO, a person should not go into construction/linework with the hopes of being paid more than an installer. It creates the same negative effect of when someone becomes an installer only to be paid more than a Walmart cashier. You should go there with the hopes of being paid the same as others who do similar work in other oarts of the telecom industry.
