When I work a full week ( 6 days, show up on time, 3-4 jobs a day) I pull 2K + (not minus) every week.
If indeed you have your certs and are a seasoned installer, you are the one at fault for allowing yourself to be treated like a trainee.
If you are looking to stir fecal matter with talk of unionization and how wonderful it is, then simply go and find a union based job or maybe a one of the plants that have become union where an installer can't even bring proper service to the customer because they are not allowed to use any sort of meter for diagnosing or trouble shooting other than a sniffer, because the union "SAYS SO". Which is sort of like telling a runner that he must now run all of his or her races with one foot taped to their buttocks.
