ease up on the "turn the tv up" thing. it's sometimes the fastest way to get out of the sub's hair the fastest, which is good service. did it today on a re-install where the roofers had removed and then re-mounted (kinda) a dish i installed in october. i looked at the setting the dish was at before, looked at the level of the new mast now, made an adjustment of one degree, turned up the tv (3 feet away by a window), warned the sub, took 5 seconds. no need to pull off the lnb or anything else. ran a new checkswitch and filled out paperwork. whole job took 20 minutes. door to door.
